From Imitation To Innovation Zongshen Industrial Group (IZG) by Keith Michael Quinn, VICTID: The International Development Council (IUCN) celebrates with the IUCN’s 5th annual Science of Innovation (SInI), a year-long initiative to instill a spirit of innovation in the economic and social management of the environment. Five people (trio, Peter, Dan, Barbara, Diane and Kevin) from Imitation to Innovation Zongshen International Institute of Science of Innovation are continuing an adventure that will never stop, and will create an environment in which not only science can be applied in local lessons in the developing world, but also the economy can flourish. You will witness the ongoing development through two major new-build projects: the IUCN is now transforming the world and the economy. One of our projects starts with an initiative which will let us use the capacity for human and ecological conservation to grow the crop of both Africa and Asia. This year’s initiative was named the IUCN Research Agenda. Currently, the IUCN is working towards a global scope of innovation which will benefit and enhance our society through innovation. All this is in line with our commitment to greater economic prosperity and employment and to an affordable environment for every country on the planet. In fact, we have succeeded at the global scale with the creation and promotion of innovation by the IUCN. This initiative will enable us to diversify our investment and improve the lives of the millions more. This year’s IUCN Science of Innovation initiative aims to expand the activity of our new-build projects to facilitate the effective exchange of knowledge between our community and the IUCN scientific community through an activity guided by science.

The existing projects are moving forward, but at the same time we will work with the researchers and practitioners to develop a set of tools designed to expand this new-build initiative.
