Conflicting Interests In Taxi Fare Regulation This contribution highlights the financial importance of the use of taxi fare regulations in New Zealand in recent years. According to the New Zealand Taxing Authority (NZTA), as of 2009 New Zealand had more than 3,500 taxi-fee regulations implemented to drive public safety and high traffic regulations.
