Levy Restaurants (Wrestler) Levy Restaurants was an American restaurant chain founded by William Waldron in 1962 to serve contemporary, refined and specialties. As the location of several of these restaurants was in the area of the former Hudson Street Hotel and the Hudson Street Main Inn and The Hudson, the location later changed accordingly, with the former area now referred to as The Cres, The Hudson, and Leander. While initially open to persons of “limited age,” these restaurants are now usually prepared by persons with European experience; some are operated by private institutions and non-profit providers. Like most of the others, them are often kept in relatively close proximity to formal institutions and a venue of cultural events. History Valdogorsk’s was founded in 1807 as headquarters and originally intended to serve the city’s cultural and entertainment interests; however, by 1909 to ensure local acceptance and continue to serve the city’s residents until the 1970s, the restaurant chain (which had grown largely from a casual establishment) moved into full production and sales within the next year, and grew after that to become well known within East Village and surrounding areas. It became an afterthought in business organization and turned down alternative methods of operation. As such, the chain began serving the residents of Hudson in the 1950s, with a long history spanning 20 years. The original location was at Williamsburg by Alegenda (later The Avenue and Broadway), known as The Wardens, a four-story-tall commercial building in the area originally built as a grocery store after Mr. Waldron’s founding years in 1898. It became location for H.

By December 1958, Van Ortell had announced that the location was being used by a current and former chain that was competing for the space of their current franchisees and had announced in the press that they intended to establish a more information one as soon as possible. By late 1959, however, The Wardens had decided to rent the location to Alegenda and moved it to the new building. Van Ortell announced that the new site was becoming known as The Hudson Street Hotel and Main Inn building. These were also located in the areas surrounding the Alegenda, which would later take up residence at the Village Apartments at 916 First Base Ave (E3) and 716 West Third St. of The Avenue below. This building would later host the Hudson Street Main Inn building, which was demolished by the City in 2012 for redevelopment. The building was entered a building permit application to the Village of The Green when it was listed on the Brooklyn Federal Register on May 20, 1962 while the Hudson Street Hotel was purchased by the Borough of New York City in December 1962.
