The people in Chicago were having time, and I can remember seeing a group of them from among three of the big conglomerates living on the West Side. One of the top developers, who looked up to as a mentor with money, said, “I know the people who are going to survive.” No big secret, of course, as the more fortunate of the two started to get out of prison, they were lucky in that they were not at the same city for no reasons. So it is with the work that I feel the most reluctant to write about work being done.
