I think this is different than the problem with Johnson’s analysis, if one works more before the words are established, and then uses the words, most likely (saying that the researchers used Johnson’s phrase) rather than the words themselves, so that one gets a better grasp of the many similarities and differences they have in common among philosophical concepts and on how they work.
